Job Summary:
The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) provides nutrition education, referrals and nutritious foods to eligible pregnant, postpartum, and lactating women and their children under the age of 5. Under the direction of the WIC Supervising Nutritionist, is responsible for WIC participant services and the efficient flow of WIC participants through the clinic. Provide accurate appointment scheduling, intake, and processing of participants. Screen and document applicants’ information for WIC Program eligibility, and issue benefits when appropriate. Greet and promote positive working relationships with clients, families, health care providers, and co-workers. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:
Responsible for the delivery of patient-centered, team-based care that falls within the allowable scope of practice. This includes working collaboratively with physicians, registered nurses, and medical assistants to provide advanced practice physical and psychosocial assessments, diagnosis, and management of health and illness needs. The primary responsibility of the Nurse Practitioner is direct patient care for all ages and genders, including both acute and chronic care. The Nurse Practitioner will also assist the Chief Medical Officer and Staff Physicians in supervision of the nursing staff.

Job Summary:

Job Summary:
The Associate Behavioral Health Specialist will work under the direct supervision and training of the Behavioral Health Director. The Associate Behavioral Health Specialist provides behavioral health services, including conducting complete brief and focused assessments utilizing the biopsychosocial approach, using evidence-based brief therapy, being flexible, and practicing in a fast-paced clinic environment. The Associate Behavioral Health Specialist work alongside the health center’s medical teams to provide comprehensive whole-person care. They will offer same-day mental health consults, psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, psychotherapy, alcohol, and drug screening using the SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment), education/support groups, and resource information. The Associate Behavioral Health Specialist is the bridge between Camino Health Center, the community, and other local agencies that provide this population’s services.

Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Social Work from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the Cultural Humility UDS Chronic Management Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
- License / Certification: Valid Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Health Sciences is required. It must be maintained to continue recording experience hours until licensed as an LCSW—current BLS certification.
- Experience / Training: 1-2 years of experience providing direct behavioral health services to patient of all ages; ability to work through brief patient contacts as well as to make quick and accurate clinical assessments of mental and behavioral conditions; should be comfortable with the pace of primary care, working with an interdisciplinary team, and have strong communication skills
Preferred Position Qualifications:
- Experience / Training: Bilingual English/Spanish; experience in and out-patient or community mental health setting; previous experience with motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, problem-solving therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-based counseling

Job Summary:

Job Summary:
The Dental Assistant’s primary job function is to work as part of a team to provide high quality, efficient and service oriented patient care while demonstrating the health center’s core values. The Dental Assistant is responsible for performing basic supportive chair-side procedures under the direction of the Staff Dentists, maintaining the operatories in a safe and workable condition, properly cleaning all dental instruments, and assistance with providing oral health education to patients and caregivers. Secondarily, the Dental Assistant is responsible for providing front office support, ensuring that a high level of customer service is provided to health center patients and caretakers.

Job Summary:
Direct Patient Care: Provide high quality, patient-centered and values-based medical care, referral of patients for specialty care as needed, collaboration with health care team members as appropriate for consultation, referrals and follow-up care (80%).
Supervision of Clinical Staff: Assist mid-level health care providers in assessment and treatment of patients as necessary and direct supervision of nursing staff (10%).
Patient Education: Direct patient education regarding medical conditions and treatment, appropriate verbal and written patient referrals for further health education, assist CEO and CMO in program development and implementation as necessary (5%).
Quality Management and Utilization Review: Practice in an efficient, cost effective manner, participation in department and clinic-wide meetings, attend relevant Continuing Medical Education courses (5%).

Job Summary:
The Behavioral Health Specialist provides behavioral health services to patients of all ages at Camino Health Center. The Behavioral Health Specialist work alongside the health center’s medical teams to provide comprehensive whole person care. - License / Certification: Must be licensed, in the state of California, as an LCSW and be in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences; current BLS certification
- Experience / Training: 3 years of providing direct behavioral health services to patient of all ages; ability to work through brief patient contacts as well as to make quick and accurate clinical assessments of mental and behavioral conditions; should be comfortable with the pace of primary care, working with an interdisciplinary team, and have strong communication skills
