FQHC
As a Federally Qualified Health Center, Camino Health Center has earned the financial backing of the federal government through a competitive grant process. In order to maintain this status, the health center is held to the highest level of regulations and must regularly conduct a community needs assessment in order to ensure the mission and strategic plan of the organization aligns with the needs of the community members served. The health center has been a FQHC organization since 2012.
UDS QUARTILE RANKING
Each year the federal government releases comparative data of each FQHC and its performance on specific quality measures. In 2021 (the last year data was released), Camino Health Center was in the top quartile in 7 out of 16 measures and in the top 50% in 10 out of 16 measures compared to health centers nationwide.
Recognized by the National Committee on Quality Assurance, a Patient-Centered Medical Home puts patients at the forefront of care and focuses on the relationship between the care provider and the patient. PCMH recognized organizations deliver high quality care which research has shown can lead to improved patient experiences, lower costs, and better health outcomes. Camino Health Center has been PCMH recognized every year since 2015.
