Camino Health Center is proactively combating the recent COVID-19 virus. The health center is in continual communication with community partners, local, state, and federal government agencies to ensure proper screening precautions are in place to ensure the safety of our communities, patients, and employees.
Clinic Safety Precautions
Protecting our patients and employees is a top priority for the health center. We want to continue to offer services to our patients. All persons will be screened for symptoms of COVID-19 prior to entering the health center.

Modified Clinic Hours
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the health center has modified some of its clinic hours. Click here to see the current hours of operation.
Testing for Established Camino Health Center Patients
Camino Health Center currently has COVID-19 testing available for established health center patients. Accurate results from these tests are only effective if a patient has symptoms of coronavirus. Therefore, a licensed medical provider will make the proper assessment before proceeding with a lab order for COVID-19.
Testing for Non Camino Health Center Patients
Due to the limited supply of COVID-19 tests, Camino Health Center is only able to provide testing to established health center patients. We encourage other community members to contact their primary care physician or insurance company for COVID-19 resources that are available to them. If you do not have a primary care physician or medical insurance, please contact the medical department at (949)240-2272.
San Clemente Closure
Camino Health Center’s San Clemente site will be closed until further notice. The health center has decided to consolidate these services with its Lake Forest and San Juan Capistrano locations to ensure more efficient and effective care. If San Clemente is your home site and you need transportation assistance to attend one of the health center’s other two locations, please contact the medical department at (949)240-2272.
